Los Boozan Dukes
live concert
Based in Barcelona, Los Boozan Dukes is fronted by the gruff vocals and new Orleans-y trumpet of Paul Sessions. The group consists of Italian Mattia Sinigaglia, the deft and dulcet fingerpicking silver Dobro player, Catalan Quico Hernández scratching and rattling on his Ohio washboard, Maltese Banjolele songstress Ruth Abela, English Emma Gawlinski on tenor sax and flute and Catalan Oriol Fontonals or French Basque Xabi Eliçagaray plucking and slapping the bullfiddle.
Inspired by 1940s New Orleans French Creole swing, Los Boozan Dukes play a mix of old-timey and original lindy-hoppable swing, stomp and voodoo blues. Available for concerts, birthdays, bar-mizvahs, weddings and funerals.
