The Association Teatro Necessario was born in Parma in 2001 and for 20 years it has been carrying on an intense activity of production and promotion of contemporary circus and urban theater, mixing theatrical techniques, mime, dance, music with circus arts, in order to create innovative live shows, with which it has participated in the most important Italian and international showcases. 

Teatro Necessario is also a promoter on the Italian territory of the construction of meeting opportunities of quality and visibility in the field of contemporary circus, even for young emerging experiences.

It is the only reality of production of contemporary circus born in the territory of Emilia Romagna and funded by the Emilia Romagna Region. In fact, the Association since 2016 is supported by the Emilia Romagna Region and by the Ministry of Culture since 2015, since 2018 in the newly created Contemporary Circus section. 

La Dinamica del Controvento is a sound installation, a time machine, a daydream, a moment of suspension, of fantasy, a fragile and hypnotic game in search of balance and stability: the audience is transported by the persuasive notes of a piano played live and lulled by the slow movement of a carpet that hovers in mid-air, rotating without stopping. Those who get on board are invited to leave weight, gravity and thoughts on the ground and to cross the border of a world where music fills time and makes it a score to be played, one page after another, one turn after another.
