The Italian alternative-pop duo DAIANA LOU is composed of Luca Pignalberi, who creates acid blues harmonies and explosive rhythmic pulsations with drums, and Daiana Mingarelli, who follows him with an original vocal timbre ranging from whispers to scratchy highs. Daiana Lou is the combination of various musical styles and different musical lives. While Daiana has a reggae and R'n'B musical background, multi-instrumentalist Luca has a classical blues education. Both became passionate about electronic music, inspired by the music scene of their adopted home, Berlin. 

In January 2021 the production of the third album begins together with Cesare Mac Petricich (Negrita) who has focused the attention of the sound mixing the rudeness of street music with the eclecticism of the Berlin rhythm of life. The album in progress is an explosion of monolithic riffs, ethereal moments, temporal suspensions and clubby pulsations guided by Daiana's voice, capable of leading on an introspective journey that aims to leave deep inspirations to the listener.

The alternative rock sound is an introspective journey that begins with Daiana's whisper of introspective melodies, hits the stomach with Luca's distorted riffs, projects you into Berlin clubs with the primordial riffs of bassist Jan, all punctuated by the heavy accents of drummer Antonio, with nuances that lead back to the electronics of the German capital. The themes dealt with in the lyrics start from the need to express a cry of disappointment against this era of antisocial selfishness and to actively involve and inspire the public.
