Echo Town

The band ECHO TOWN is based in the south-west of the United Kingdom, and consists of brothers Ric and Rob Harrison. They are recognized for their vibrant and energetic performances, contemporary freedom songs, and the use of multiple instruments such as lap-slide guitar, djembe, didgeridoo, and harmonica. In their early years, they played heavy rock music, but then the duo moved on to develop a more harmonious and spiritual approach to music, gradually becoming the vibrant band they are today. After a long-forgotten debut mini album, Echo Town released their second album "Come on Over" in June 2011, inspired by family relationships, the great outdoors and surfing on the east coast of England.

They moved to Cornwall in early 2015 after a mini tour in summer 2014 where they received an extremely positive response from the South West music scene. 2015 marked the release of their third album "Be Strong Troop On", their most successful work to date and from them began the next level of touring the UK and the start of shows in continental Europe.

To date they have opened for Morcheeba, Xavier Rudd & The United Nations, My Baby, Alabama 3, Chali 2na, Wille & The Bandits and Sound of the Sirens. In the summer of 2018 they played at the Szigit Festival (Hungary), the Montreux Jazz Festival (Switzerland), the Veszprémi Utcazene (Hungary) and the BioRitme Festival (Spain), as well as the UK favourites; Tunes in the Dunes, Beautiful Days, Green Gathering, Green Meadows and many more. In October 2018 they released their fourth album, Kin, with a new and more lively sound, recorded in the studio by John Cornfield, known for working with artists such as Muse, Supergrass, Ben Howard and The Stone Roses.
