SAFFRAN! was born in cosmopolitan and sparkling Barcelona in the spring of 2012. For three years the group played almost all over Europe in endless musical adventures. In 2015 the project takes a break, and in 2019 it returns with the desire to create more original songs and a new show. In fact, the band offers a theatrical concert, in which the staging accompanies an exciting mix of rhythms, languages and melodies, original and traditional. 

Saffran! it’s like a laboratory of musical-theatrical fusion, characterized by play and improvisation. Musically, they explore the creation of a repertoire without labels, playing with the textures of voice, accordion, guitar, cello, violin and percussion, uniting in an imaginary line the Mediterranean, Eastern Europe and Latin America. Theatrically, they are fascinated by the possibility of highlighting the most dreamlike, upset and melancholic moments, to take the audience on a journey through spices and musical-theatrical spaces.
