In 1992, Claire Ducreux graduated from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Musique et de Danse de Lyon, department of modern dance. Since then, she has been performing for various contemporary dance companies mainly in France. In 1998, she moved to Barcelona to form a duo with Catalan clown Leandre, Fragile, which won multiple awards in Spain in 1999 and 2000. He then began to discover his own language, a cross between 3 art forms: dance, physical theatre and interactive clown. 3 shows were slowly produced to form the vagabond trilogy: De Paseo (2004), Barco de Arena (2008), Le sourire du Naufragé (2012).
On stage, he believes that the most important thing is to communicate and share emotions with the audience. Since 1999 she has been performing all over the world with her solo and duo shows.
Fleurir les abîmes
A woman and a tree in a world where everything seems to turn to sand, even water, even time passing. For this new dance solo, Claire Ducreux immerses us in a universe that is very intimate but close to people. Over the years and performances, she draws a universe made up of dance, visual theatre, humour and poetry. To bring us into the abstract language of her dance, she creates images using everyday elements... like a tree. This tree is a peaceful resistance to reality that seems to disintegrate. He is the heart of the universe.
