The Italian-Australian puppet theater company Di Filippo Marionette was created by Remo Di Filippo in 2010 and has continued to grow since Rhoda Lopez joined in 2014.

Remo Di Filippo trained as an actor, studying commedia dell'arte, neutral mask, larval mask, pantomime, voice and movement. He approaches the world of puppetry, thanks to the discovery of a small and fascinating workshop in the center of Barcelona: Casa taller de marionetas de Pepe Otal. Here he discovers the nobility of wood and its infinite faces, and rediscovers the threads that bind him to his childhood.

Rhoda Lopez, born in the Philippines and raised in Zambia, lived in Perth, Australia until she met Di Filippo. Her love for the arts stems from her culture and an innate desire to communicate. She has worked in many theater productions as an actress, singer, dancer and presenter. She has been awarded Best Actress and has also worked on the small screen in Australian films and various TV series.

Piuma is the newest member of the Di Filippo Marionette family and he is also the smallest! Born in Australia, he can be described as a "pocket puppet": he's 28 cm tall and weighs 352 g. And he doesn't want to work. This show is meant to be seen up close for the audience to enjoy the details of the movements and fun interactions between the llittle puppet Piuma and the tall puppeteer Remo. What can happen between these two very different characters?
