Duo Baguette

The Duo Baguette is formed by Andrea Branchetti and Nicole Fabbri and is part of the collective "Contrada Lamierone", a cultural association and musical group of the same name founded in 2010 with a record to its credit and concerts in festivals and exhibitions in Italy and abroad. 

The Duo was founded in 2012 and has dedicated itself over the years to numerous projects ranging from: listening concerts within festivals, festivals and venues, stage music for theater, accompaniments to poetry readings, soundtracks to multivisions and films. 

In 2012 they participate in "DiaFestival," a national multivision festival, setting live music to "Nessun Rumore" by Luciano Laghi Benelli. In 2014 they are invited by the Conservatory of Rouen (France) to hold a practical seminar on Italian folk music. 

In 2015, the association "InCantoNati" of Russi (RA) commissioned them to perform the live soundtrack of the silent film "The Man with the Camera" by Dziga Vertov (1929). 

In 2016 they are invited to the festival "Le petit bal d'Amour" in Normandy, to give a concert and a seminar of Organ and Accordion. In June 2018, they are among five applicants chosen by the 10Heartz project to participate in an artistic residency in the earthquake-stricken municipalities of the Marche region. Hosted in Camerino, they produce "L'Eco di una Terra," an original performance combining live music and fields recording. In the same year they reworked the sound work for the film "The Man with the Camera," integrating acoustic sound with the use of effects and loop stations.
