The historic Rimini-based crew Fairy Circles was founded in November 2010, inspired by the legends of fairy circles, magical places where fairies, elves and other supernatural beings gather to dance through the night. It is said that entering a fairy circle can transport one to the realm of fairies, an evocative image that perfectly captures the enigmatic and intense atmosphere of their performances. This symbolism reflects the immersive and transcendent nature of their performances, which promise to take audiences on a unique and unforgettable sonic journey.
Composed of Burla22, Dr.Fitz, Piro, Bizio, Slime and Mirche, the crew has more than 150 dates under their belt, establishing themselves as a reference point in the independent electronic scene in Romagna. Initially resident at the Velvet Club & Factory's Elektrovelvet event, Fairy Circles has always aimed to promote emerging artists from the Italian and international underground scene.
Their musical proposal is varied and engaging, ranging from hardtek to techno, drum&bass to breakbeat, and idm and bass music. Over the years, Fairy Circles have shared the stage with internationally renowned artists such as Venetian Snares, Dub FX, Otto Von Schirach, 16bit, Crystal Distortion, Ixindamix, Okupe, Gotek, Teknambul, Vandal, Nout Heretik, Floxytek, Billx, Mat Weasel Busters, Suburbass, Zone33, Assalti Frontali, Signal Electrique and many others.
Currently, they organize Basstard nights at Casa Madiba, combining music and social activism. Fairy Circles is not just music, but a real cultural movement promoting values of anti-fascism, anti-racism, solidarity, acceptance and feminist struggle, always keeping the spirit of cultural revolution alive through their independent productions.
