La Boca Abierta was born in 2011 from the lightning meeting between Anne Kaempf and Lior Shoov who immediately improvised gags together in bars and squares, in France or Israel. From the beginning there was a dream of an extremely light show, without decorations, that could be performed in any kind of space with good acoustics.
Gradually 'Une Aventure,' the company's first show, was born, performed in both theaters and street festivals, both in France and abroad. The two artists then developed a deep taste, a growing curiosity for the challenge posed by intimate encounters with spectators within public space.

For their new creation Mange la vie avec les doigts, they were joined by Valentin Bellot and Matthieu Beaudin, artists with a multidisciplinary and protean background between circus, music and theater.
With this show they bring forth a desire for lightness, freedom and simplicity in a moment of intimate sharing that resonates and is consistent with the upheavals of a world that cries out for decline.
The figure of the clown in this show is not so much a character, but a state of presence and play on the edge of the abyss, where everything is sensitive and vibrant, always alert and mischievous enough to exploit the unexpected.
Choices and transformations are shared with the audience in a communal and improvised present. Music constitutes the other fundamental element of the performance: the artists allow themselves to be traversed by polyphonies of different origins, in search of a unique sound. The company worked mainly on writing heterogeneous lyrics and songs ranging from intimate to tragicomic visions.
