The Lehmanns Brothers are the European funk band of the moment, a great example of how jazz, funk and afrobeat can be mixed together in a contemporary interpretation, in fact the sound of the group focuses on subtle 70s jazz and funk melodies with the adding a touch of hip-hop and neo-soul. They had the opportunity to perform at the Montreaux Jazz Festival in Switzerland but also in Austria, Germany, France, Belgium and England. This year they will perform at the Kaliningrad Jazz Festival in Russia, but their favorite destination remains Italy, where they are now at home.

They are only in their twenties but have already had the honor of opening concerts by Fred Wesley, Maceo Parker and Wu-Tang Clan. They use subtle 1970s jazz and funk melodies, adding a touch of hip-hop and neo-soul. Their music is particularly influenced by James Brown, Jamiroquai, The Roots and A Tribe Called Quest, for a party atmosphere all to dance to.
