Madame Rebiné

The company Madame Rebiné was born in 2011 in Toulouse maturing a project started in Turin in 2007 by the meeting of Andrea Brunetto, Max Pederzoli and Alessio Pollutri at the circus school Flic. Its mission is to experience live performance as a means to sublimate insecurities, to go beyond the psychological superstructures that distance us from each other and to rediscover in laughter and disinhibition, empathy towards human beings and towards life in general: a poetics based on friendship, non-violence, integration and solidarity.

It has behind it years of study at renowned European schools (Le Lido in Toulouse, Balthazar in Montpellier, Katakomben in Berlin, Escola Luthier in Barcelona) and ten years of production that allowed it to continue training under the guidance of directors such as Mario Gumina, Roberto Magro and Andrea Fidelio. 

Since 2021 it has been based in Italy, in San Quirino (PN), and since 2022 it has been supported by the Ministry of Culture as an Under 35 contemporary circus production company. It has matured over the years its own declination of contemporary languages balanced between innovation and tradition, poetry and comedy, virtuosity and simplicity. His shows are suitable for a cross-section of audiences both in terms of age and culture, and from year to year they explore different themes and research while preserving the freshness and lightness of a game among friends. A special commitment is made to street theater so that casual audiences can come across quality performances that are more than just entertainment. Since 2011 to date, it has performed more than 500 performances, including street festivals, theaters and marquees.

STRIKE! - Clowns on Strike is a new show created in co-production with Ultimo Punto. A traveling performance in which three old clowns take to the streets to go on strike. There will be many reasons for their protest, some more serious and some less, some more spectacular and some less... none will make people laugh, forbidden! 

The project stems from the company's desire to experiment with a new genre and to turn anger, frustration, disappointment and powerlessness into play matter with which to have fun, engage the audience and remember that life is wonderful and sometimes human beings are imbeciles!
