Venolta ad Artisti in Piazza

Venolta is an autumn festival born 2 years ago from the collaboration of Ultimo Punto and Chiocciola la Casa del Nomade with the aim of reappropriating the style of ancient rural dance, those waking dances typical of these areas (ballo in sia, manfrina, furlena), with the hope that they will become part of today's festive situations of the area's community again. To succeed, we will integrate a small foray of Venolta's content into the programming of Artisti in Piazza and make it available to the festival audience. 

To revive the area's old-time vigils with dancing, music, singing, witnessing and workshops.
During the morning there will be educational workshops where you can learn the music the dances and songs of the territory, also with the presence of the historical witnesses: music workshops (accordion, accordion, violin, etc.), dances (ballo in sia, manfrina, furlena etc.), songs (tavern or narrative songs, stornelli, pasquelle and cantamaggi, octave rime, etc.). 

In the evening, an attempt will be made to revive the wake of yesteryear through music, ancient dances, game dances, smooth dances, songs, also involving local musicians, elderly players, the festival audience, accompanied by "Viva el Ball!".
