Driven by a growing desire to raise public and local community awareness about the Festival\u2019s sustainability, and in collaboration with the <\/span><b>MUSSS<\/b> (<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Natural History Museum, Environmental Education Center, and Visitor Center of the Sasso Simone and Simoncello Park), a new working group called <\/span><b>GO GREEN!<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> was established at the beginning of 2019.<\/span><\/h3>\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The actions we will undertake will be varied and aimed at progressively improving the Festival\u2019s environmental impact:<\/span><\/h3>\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_empty_space height=&#8221;64px&#8221;][vc_column_text]\n<h1 style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: left;\"><strong>THINK GLOBAL ACT LOCAL!<\/strong><\/h1>\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Driven by an ever-growing desire to raise awareness among the audience and the local community about the Festival\u2019s sustainability, since the 23rd edition we have launched the <\/span><b>GoGreen<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> working group, created in collaboration with the Natural History Museum of Pennabilli.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The goal is to monitor, initiate, discuss, and promote both collective and individual actions that are sustainable and increasingly respectful of the environment and the planet.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><b><i>Help us win this challenge, step by step, year after year!<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space]<div class=\"separator\" style=\"padding-top: 20px; padding-bottom: 20px; \"><hr class=\"solid\" style=\"border-color: #f08066;\"><\/div>[\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text css_animation=&#8221;fadeIn&#8221;]\n<h3><strong>Energy<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Since 2005, we have equipped the various stages with <\/span><b>LED lighting<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to reduce energy consumption and emissions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Our electricity provider uses an energy mix primarily from <b>renewable sources<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We aim to make the most of <strong>natural sunlight<\/strong> during the different work and setup phases leading up to the Festival.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">All performances take place <strong>outdoors<\/strong>, without the need for air conditioning systems.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space]<div class=\"separator\" style=\"padding-top: 20px; padding-bottom: 20px; \"><hr class=\"solid\" style=\"border-color: #f08066;\"><\/div>[vc_empty_space][vc_column_text css_animation=&#8221;fadeIn&#8221;]\n<h3><strong>Mobility<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>This is a very important point for us!<\/p>\n<p>We encourage our audience to reach the Festival using <strong>public transport<\/strong>, and this year it will be even easier thanks to a <strong>pilot project by the Mobility Agency of the Province of Rimini<\/strong>, which will increase the number of buses to Pennabilli.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.artistiinpiazza.com\/aip\/wp-uploads\/2025\/06\/ORARIO-BUS-AIP-2025.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CLICK HERE for the full timetable<\/a>!<\/p>\n<p>Since 2019, we have been promoting <strong>car sharing<\/strong> to reduce transport-related emissions and encourage social interaction \u2014 first with a board for posting notes, and now also via a <a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/aipcarsharing22\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Telegram chat<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Coming by bike?<\/strong><br \/>\nTo reward your green spirit, your <strong>camping spot<\/strong> is <strong>free<\/strong> and you will also receive a <strong>cold beer<\/strong> upon arrival.<\/p>\n<p>We aim to reduce emissions from our artists&#8217; shuttle service: starting this year, thanks to the support of <strong>Gruppo Di.Ba<\/strong> and <strong>Hyundai<\/strong>, we will have two electric cars and one van, helping us significantly lower our emissions!<\/p>\n<p>We also avoid using cars or scooters by equipping our staff with <strong>pedal-assisted bicycles<\/strong>, thanks to our partnership with <strong>Bike Park Rimini<\/strong>![\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space]<div class=\"separator\" style=\"padding-top: 20px; padding-bottom: 20px; \"><hr class=\"solid\" style=\"border-color: #f08066;\"><\/div>[vc_empty_space][vc_column_text css_animation=&#8221;fadeIn&#8221;]\n<h3><strong>Waste<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Each year, we enhance the <strong>street recycling stations<\/strong> specially set up for the Festival in collaboration with the local utilities company. In 2024, we built 40 new wooden recycling bins, increasing capacity by 16,000 liters \u2014 the equivalent of 3,000 kg of waste \u2014 with an eye to the future: these bins are designed to be reused for many years, reducing construction waste and costs.<\/p>\n<p>Since 2022, we have provided campers with <strong>waste sorting kits<\/strong> to encourage proper recycling.<\/p>\n<p>If you have any doubts about how to sort your waste, feel free to ask our Eco volunteers.<\/p>\n<p>We have always promoted a <strong>plant-based menu<\/strong> at the Staff canteen.<\/p>\n<p>Festival bars do not sell bottled water \u2014 we have saved around 90,000 plastic bottles from going to waste! If you bring a <strong>refillable bottle<\/strong> or your own <strong>cup<\/strong>, you can refill it at any Festival bar.<\/p>\n<p>We are also investing in a <strong>new pilot project<\/strong>: a <strong>compost toilet<\/strong> in collaboration with RUGOLO.
