Doppie Punte is a performance that explores the complexity of human relationships, highlighting both their wonderful uniqueness and their inherent difficulty. The artists on stage are bound to one another by a simple yet powerful physical connection: their hair is woven together into a single braid. Is this bond an irritating limitation, or a rare advantage? Moving between the comic and the reflective, the intimate and immersive atmosphere of the performance invites the audience to plunge into a whirlwind of emotions and contrasts.

A dance of bodies that intertwine, brush against each other, rebel, and yet cannot help but remain united, in search of a balance between independence and fusion. A reflection on connection, intimacy, autonomy, and dependence. A journey into the delirious and fascinating labyrinth of these two figures’ existence. Doppie Punte leaves the audience with the feeling that, in every relationship, the true challenge is to remain oneself while still staying intertwined with others.

Duo Bau is a female hand-to-hand duo founded in 2019, made up of Sole and Maria, two artists with strikingly different appearances, shapes, and colours, yet united by the same dreams and projects. Meeting again at the Carampa circus school in Madrid, they became fascinated by the language of hand-to-hand acrobatics and decided to deepen their study of this discipline together, new to both of them. In this way, they took on a challenge with themselves, beginning a journey full of sacrifices and great rewards. At the end of their studies, they presented their first act together and, driven by a strong affinity and harmony, the artists channelled all their energy into a new project: the creation of a lively, entertaining, and engaging street show, the DUO BAU SHOW.
