Musica Muta is an instrumental duo that transforms acoustic guitars into a true orchestra. Blending contemporary and traditional techniques, Michele Rosati and Rachele Fogu unleash vibrant energy through captivating arrangements, drawing the audience into a crescendo of emotion.

Their repertoire brings together reinterpretations and original compositions: from great pop and rock classics to film soundtracks, all the way to the tracks from their album Babilonia, reviewed by Chitarra Acustica and La Sesta Corda. In 2025, the duo was awarded at the InterContinental Music Awards in Los Angeles for the song Vajont, winning the European Alternative category. In the same year, they began a collaboration with CandyRat Records, sparked by the video for their arrangement of Smoke on the Water, in which modern fingerstyle transforms the famous riff into a wordless journey.

With intense and moving performances, Musica Muta redefines the boundaries of the acoustic guitar, weaving groove and melody into a perfect balance of tradition and innovation. They have performed at numerous major events including Umbria Jazz, Musica per i Borghi, Ferrara Buskers Festival, Madame Guitar, and 16corto, as well as in cities such as Rome, Ferrara, Venice, Forlì, Bologna, Perugia, Assisi, Orvieto, Trevi, Todi, Norcia, Piacenza, Tolfa, Civitavecchia, Vicenza, Cortina d’Ampezzo, and San Gimignano.
