Pyrotechnic in his approach to the audience, who love him from the very first moment — adults and children alike — Otto is a brilliant and extremely likeable clown, dressed as the ringmaster of an improbable and mysterious circus. He presents acts of genuine bizarreness, drawing the audience into his crazy stage adventures. Irreverent, boastful, yet also sweet and arrogant, Otto is a clown with a strong sense of stagecraft and comedy. His gags reveal a superb ability to adapt to each square and to improvise, turning every performance into a unique event.
 

Gianni Risola, known on stage as Otto Panzer, now describes himself as a clown and street artist, occasionally venturing into cabaret. He says he has finally found his true dimension, but like any good clown, he remains attached to the uncertainty of the future — a stimulus to take risks and keep trying to do better. Through his character Otto, he wishes everyone the chance to turn their hobby into their profession, remembering what his teachers always shouted at him at school: “Risola, if you keep clowning around, you’ll never get anywhere.”
