Winner of the Gold Medal for Dance at the 2017 Jeux de la Francophonie, for his choreography on “Di Sel”, Mathieu Joseph merges street dance with Sega the entrancing rhythms of his homeland Mauritius, a dynamic fusion of two vital grass roots cultural movements. Opening his show with a original piece Mathieu will then share his Mauritian Kreole heritage the rhythms and dance of Sega, then let Mathieu take you to the beach at Mauritius dance it out to his favourite Sega tracks.
