Can beauty, art, poetry, and dreams, brought into the square and shared, inspire all of us toward even the smallest change? Can a work of art be a small piece of revolution, striving toward peace and the wonder of human coexistence, allowing us to glimpse it through the lens of childhood?

Teatro dei Venti is currently working on a new theatre production for urban spaces, based on Le Petit Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry.

The performance follows the path traced by the company’s earlier Don Chisciotte and inherits both its strong relationship with the contemporary world and its dramatic device: the centrality of poetic language as a guide and an opening onto elsewhere; its insertion within a narrative frame; and the recurrence of certain key characters that link the two performances as a diptych.

Teatro dei Venti, based in Modena, transforms urban space into a stage for the community. Since 2005, it has brought together artistic research and social impact, taking performance into squares, prisons, and other extra-theatrical spaces. Landmark works in this practice include Moby Dick, winner of the 2019 Ubu Prize for set design, and the Siege Trilogy, awarded the 2025 Special Ubu Prize.
