GUSTAVO LA VITA is ANDREA FARNETANI's most recent character, a tired and aging clown in whom the child's sweetness and curiosity remain in him like a small flickering candle that shines brightly at times. He is accompanied by Pedro, his trusty friend whose serenity and sweetness help Gustavo deal with anxieties and relationships.

The Sound Lymphs (Linfa Suono), mythical apparitions, escaped from the collective imagination, cross the boundaries of ancient consciousness and are the manifestation of the forest, the wildness, the freedom, the wisdom of the peoples of the earth and the relationship between beings and the cosmos. They are the origin of the sound that like sap flows in everything.

Body percussion + juggling with balls = BALL PERCUSSION. The project, born in Florence in 2013, is the result of an artistic research aimed at combining body percussion and manipulation of unconventional objects, bringing to the stage choreographies expressed through the movements of the body and objects, simultaneously playing rhythmic sequences with body percussion. An excerpt from the latest production, performed as a duo, will be staged for the festival.

Greta, Stella and Sunniva Bondesson form BASKERY, a trio of sisters from Stockholm, Sweden. The group's motto, go where the music takes them, has created organic growth and their energetic and diverse live shows have made them an attractive and sought-after live band. They were chosen as support groups for Gary Clark Jr, Robbie Williams, Seth Lakeman, Lukas Nelson and Brandi Carlile.

CHO KAIRIN is a master of balance, precision and strength, the last of a long family dynasty of acclaimed Chinese acrobats. Chinese Super Acrobat Cho Kairin is a traditional show (with a few thousand years of history) featuring acrobatics, acting, juggling, transformation and more.

An-ki, the new show by ORTIGA, is the fantasy created by a girl, Adja, to sustain the reality of her world, where waves of ghosts appear among the woods, bringing down her dreams.
Adja and her family will search for the roots of their past and hope for the future to cope with the bleak existence that surrounds them.

Using only two flashlights, a board of nails and broken glass (as well as overflowing charm), the two brothers will enchant the crowds by demonstrating the ancient and secret techniques of fakirism, learned during a long journey to the mysterious lands of San Giovanni in Persiceto. 45 minutes of pure madness, including fire spitting, improbable choreography and big laughs!

ANTIPODI (Antipodes), the title of COMPAGNIA DROMOSOFISTA's show, is the union of different styles and techniques of figure theater, from Chinese shadows to object manipulation to physical theater. Three characters invite the audience to follow them on a journey to the antipodes of the world. It is a surreal journey on a miniature horse, amid wacky characters and tiny shadow men on the run.

The SAMOVAR COMPANY is an artistic weave of musical clown, comic-poetic theater and gimmicks that has its artistic roots in Eastern Europe. OFFICINA OCEANOGRAFICA SENTIMENTALE (Sentimental Oceanographical Office), 15 minutes of apnea to understand how deep the sea is because thought like the ocean you cannot block it. All of us, from Odysseus to Noah to Aylan, have gone through water to search for life. Performance of spatulas, casters and waves for 7 travelers in the Roulotteatro.

The CREME&BRULÉ company creates original street theater shows in which fire is an element of storytelling and where contemporary dance is translated into a popular language. CIRCUS CERINI: the only circus in the world with fire animals! is a fun, humorous fire show with a strong visual component, where different creatures, puppets and flaming puppets each with its own peculiarity are presented.

The show of the Italian-Berliners DAIANA LOU is undoubtedly an alternative rock explosion that leaves deep inspirations to those who attend. The concert of the colorful band is a true celebration in which every type of spectator is invited to take part.

A guy from Pennabilli in exploration, he sneaks between events in Italy and Europe with the aim of purloining tracks to mix during his performances. His DJ set declares the pleasure of feeling free to contaminate the Italian undergound with electronic sounds, with a selection that goes from Nu Disco, to Acid House, to Techno.

Dub Lab interceptor and Spiritual Youth, two young local crews of Roots Reggae and Dub music producers, musicians and selectors, will mount their self-built sound systems in the DUB GARDEN area to set the nights of Artists in the Square ablaze with their musical selections and guests from all over Italy.

This year they will be accompanied by the likes of Shak Manaly, Peacefull warriors, Sanzio outa Afreak, Vibra Unica Family and many others.

ECHO TOWN are brothers Ric and Rob Harrison. They bring to the stage a tribal percussive fire with a powerful drums, a didgeridoo with deep reverberation, uplifting voices and a happiness that can only be experienced live.

Inspired by Tonino Guerra's "The Hundred Birds" and composed to be listened to while walking through a village, the headphone opera I CENTO SUONI (The Hundred Sounds) by EMILIANO BATTISTINI combines landscape and literature. To tell of an inner earthquake and an outer earthquake, of the loss of an identity and its rediscovery, in an experience that is both personal and group.

FANFARA STATION is a trio that combines the power of a brass band and electronics with North African voices and percussion. They celebrate the epic exploits of Mediterranean migrants, the musical cultures of the African diaspora, and the streams that have long connected the Middle East, the Maghreb, Southern Europe, and the Americas.

The FERMENTO ETNICO group will lead the audience to recreate the same atmospheres of folk festivals that marked in the distant past the most important appointments of the ancient communities that used them. Fermento Etnico, with dancers, entertainers and musicians will offer a dance journey around the world, crossing many cultures and countries.

IL SOGNO CLOWN & BUBBLES - A bizarre clown with an old-fashioned cart leads the spectator on a journey with an ancient flavor, where the real stars are the giant soap bubbles that fill the space, enveloping the spectator in a dreamlike, evanescent and poetic reality.

The TEATRI MOBILI troupe returns to Pennabilli with an en plein air version: four open-air theater spaces are formed around the Truck Theater. The first is dedicated to Emotional Theaters (Electro-mechanical Theaters for one person at a time). The second space intended to host "Manoviva" by the Girovago & Rondella Company and the third stage intended for the Dromosophista Company with the show "Antipodes." The fourth will present a new attraction, co-produced by Ultimo Punto: "The Wandering Puppet Museum".

A new attraction lands in the square: the Wandering Puppet Museum (Il Museo delle Marionette Erranti), a collection of automated puppets from 5 continents, 7 small theaters, 7 distant and related places on the journey inside the cloister museum. Between the exhibition and the performance, the cloister invites the audience to an initiation into the ancient and surprising world of animated figures.

GLI OMINI create their shows with the stories and words of real people, returning an image of our times. COPPA DEL SANTO (Saint's Cup) is a very serious play. Two psychedelic priests lead the competition, in which a selection of 32 saints, chosen with great care, participate. Eight teams. A scoreboard. A challenge to the death. The saints will compete with each other by unleashing supernatural powers until only one remains.

L'ENVERS by ICI'BAS COMPANY is a circle of artificial turf where an acrobat and a dancer take the space by inviting the passerby to stop and take a deep breath of fresh air. A small cozy area that recalls nature's serenity, in which we can freely loose track of the rest of the flock.

CIRCUS IN MOTION is a contemporary circus arts company that offers social circus workshop and visually captivating circus performances.
LE PETIT BAR (The little bar) is a circus and juggling show centered on the objects typically found in a bar to leave you breathless! The artist performs truly bizarre tricks with his dishes: stacks glasses on the blade of a knife and bottles that can multiply, mixes fried chicken with wine but soon the chicken comes to life!

JON KENZIE is a soulful performer and singer-songwriter from England with musical roots in blues and folk. He has a powerful and deep voice that can enrapture and amaze listeners. At Artisti in Piazza he will perform songs from his new solo album Silent Applause.

Raphaël Parmentier, Simon Medard and Vincent Evrard are the evocators of LA MONTAGNE LIQUIDE. They travel through sound and image in landscapes of altered states of consciousness, installing screens and instruments on a 2x1 m platform for a grand ritual that takes place for at least 3 hours in the audience.

LA BURLA (The Prank) by MADAME REBINÉ deals with the theme of change by recounting the denouement of a business. The three characters confront their emotions in search of stability.

GIRO DELLA PIAZZA (Square Tour) by MADAME REBINÉ was born out of a desire to celebrate cycling in its most relevant aspects, that of physical endurance and audience involvement. MANICOMICS TEATRO is a MIBACT-recognized production, training and research company on Clown and Contemporary Circus based in Piacenza founded in 1985.

VIAGGIO ORGANIZZATO PLUS (Organized Travel Plus) deals with an ever-present theme: the desire to travel that conquers us all. Leaving from an airport to arrive on a desert island, encountering strange animals and all the commonplaces of travel, mixing everyday life with extraordinary events such as talking statues and imaginary buses.

MATTEO GALBUSERA is an actor, performer and contemporary circus artist of international caliber, who has been touring the world for years with his shows straddling cabaret, absurdism and music, enjoying ever-increasing success. 

MAICOL GATTO | Musica per gli occhi (Maicol Gatto | Music for the eyes) is an undecipherable and unpredictable awakened humanoid who moves in the geometry of his fantasy world, prey to short circuits and electrical discharges. A show-concert that aims to celebrate the relationship between man and machine that knows no limits of space-time and is an incredible journey into the unknown.

MAURO PAGANINI builds his own instruments, puppets and sets to create highly personal performances where aesthetics and music serve a dramaturgy that is both social and topical as well as surreal and funny. FAMIGLIA GARDELON (Gardelon Family) invites us to experience the complicated reality of a family of immigrant artists traveling through Europe, offering their art and searching for their identity through humor, music and theater.

MICHELE FRATERNALI discovers music already in his intrauterine life, grows up in a musical environment and begins as a teenager to form his first bands following in his father's footsteps as a keyboardist. He grew up in Novafeltria (RN) in Romagna and began playing bass guitar as a self-taught player exploring different genres including: Rock, Funk, Pop, Metal, Blues, Italian Songwriting, Cuban Music, Reggae and Fusion, each performed with different bands and formations.

The RiCiclo GIOSTRA A PEDALI (Pedal Carousel) project proposes to interact and entertain children from 2 to 10 years old in a simple and genuine way, with an eco-carousel composed of eight black horses, made from recycled materials and pushed by a carny in the center. The musical repertoire of RUBEN ROJO Y PENNABILLI SOCIAL CLUB has always been inspired by traditional South American music with quotes and excursions into other genres. In SWEET HOME ON WHEELS the tête-à-tête relationship between husband and wife is severely tested when a third wheel appears between the two, the Caravan that the couple lovingly calls Old Betsy. The tight living conditions of the caravan will upset the harmony in the old world of old things in which the couple lives.

The TENORES DI BITTI "REMUNNU 'E LOCU are a historical group of tenor singing, real ambassadors of traditional Sardinian singing, which contribute to spreading in every corner of the world uninterruptedly for forty years.

APOCALYPSO is a co-production between the company BUFFPAPIER (CH) and the company TÊTES DE MULES (FR). In a revolving, tilting trailer that serves as a walking shooting gallery, six characters flail madly in a frantic race toward success: "Get close, pull, win, pick a prize! ". But what is success when playing with the Apocalypse? With drums, guitars and trumpet, the colorful troop of this merry-go-round sails straight toward its certain destruction. CLIC is a retro-futuristic dystopia in which the evil Mephisto attempts to steal Fausto's soul. The story takes place in the not-too-distant future, where humans live in a society overseen and controlled by a single corporation and where the human body is "improved" by mechanical organ transplants. Faced with this reality, some questions forcefully emerge: will we one day be able to save our souls in a hard disk? Are we not straying too far from nature?
