The Electro Fiabe transform contemporary family, economic, and emotional dynamics into tragicomic animal metamorphoses, where everyday language is distorted until it becomes vision. Each tale begins with real behaviours observed in daily life: small acts of manipulation, underlying rage, opportunism, emotional blackmail, vanity, greed, and apparently invisible power relations. The narration slowly accompanies them toward a physical and symbolic transformation, until the animal already contained within those behaviours emerges.
Animal metamorphosis is not a decorative metaphor. It is a behavioural diagnosis.
The snake does not represent manipulation: it reproduces its movement.
The crow does not represent opportunism: it gives back its mental sound, repetitive and obsessive.
The sow does not represent rage: it is its charge, its mass, its impact.
The stories constantly oscillate between popular comedy, ritual prophecy, and grotesque distortion. The ridiculous does not lighten the drama: it amplifies it, making it ambiguous, disturbing, human. On stage coexist musical instruments, oral storytelling, sculpture, electric voices, and contaminations of artificial intelligence.
The dominant presence of the great wooden wolf accompanies a procession of human-animals, figures embodying contemporary neuroses and moral drifts.
The Electro Fiabe do not seek redemption. They do not educate. They observe mutation as it happens. With an extremely clear tone, the Electro Fiabe construct a very precise form that lies halfway between popular storytelling theatre, tragicomic invective, ritual prophecy, hallucinatory stand-up, anthropological fable, and distorted oral poetry. A constant shift in scale from the microscopic to the cosmic: from family quarrels to the physics of spin glasses, from the mother-in-law to Parisi’s Nobel Prize, from village gossip to animal metamorphosis.

Electro Truffa was founded in 2023 with the intention of telling the inner and outer world of the small rogues and great swindlers who live within us and beside us, through music, conceptual art, song, and live performance in all its forms. Founded by authors, musicians, and performers Frei “Castigo” Rossi and Marcello “Gianduia” Detti, the company develops original works in which music, storytelling, and stage installation are in constant interplay.
Among the company’s productions are Electro Truffa, a performative live DJ set played aboard a yellow Volkswagen T4 transformed into a travelling sound system; and Electro Tarocchi, co-produced in 2025 by the Di Strada in Strada Festival with illustrations by Elisa Seitzinger, in which a concert of original soundtracks alternates with tragicomic predictions about the swindles you will commit or suffer in your future, accompanied by two gigantic scenic arcana. In 2026, the company co-produces the theatre piece Electro Fiabe with Artisti in Piazza.
