Amidst the ruins of a city, a crowd seeking refuge gathers for a moment's respite. A blanket, a bowl of soup, a piece of bread… and memories of what once was, what is and of what will be.
A timeless story. A political and poetic statement. A tribute to the courage of those who have left their homes in search of a new place to live. There are many of us, and there will be many more. Don't forget to bring your piece of bread.

Kamchàtka is an immersive and contextual theatre collective based in Catalonia, active since 2006 and made up of artists from different countries. Their creations emerge in public space and in unconventional venues, developing a poetic, wordless, and deeply immersive language in which the audience becomes an essential part of the dramaturgy. At the heart of their research are human movement, memory, the gaze, and the relationship between bodies, places, and communities.
Over the years, Kamchàtka has presented its performances in 37 countries, with more than 500 shows, establishing itself as one of the most recognisable companies in contemporary street theatre. Their work has received major international recognition, including two MAX Awards for Best Street Performance, for Alter and Fugit — an achievement that made the company the first ever to win this award twice in the same category. In 2023, Alter was also named by the British newspaper The Guardian as one of the ten best performances of the year.

With the support of Institut Ramon Llull.
